LAKELAND, Fla. – The No. 11 Florida Southern College men's tennis team wrapped up its regular season home schedule this afternoon with a 6-1 victory against Eckerd College Tuesday afternoon at the Wynee Warden Tennis Center.

The Mocs (15-5, 2-3 SSC) won doubles once again and carried the momentum into singles with wins on all but one of the flights. The Tritons (7-10, 0-6 SSC) managed a solo singles flight win but not enough as FSC won its home match finale.

For doubles, Bosko Boskovic and Inaki Braun Simo had a speedy 6-0 win at the #2 court for an early flight victory. The Tritons evened the doubles flights with a win at the #3 court over Hunter Nussbaum and Ryan Rajakar, leading the point to the #1 court. Chris Fok Kow and Mario Garoz, ranked 26th in ITA doubles pairing, had command of the #1 court and secured the point for FSC with a 6-4 win.

In singles action, Gabriel Jornert opened the flight wins with a two-set victory at the #5 court by a 6-1, 6-0 score. No. 50 Garoz also won his court in two sets, 6-2, 6-3, before EC had its first and only flight win with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Braun Simo at the #3 court. The match-clinching flight went to Boskovic at #4 with a 6-3, 6-4 win. FSC won the final two courts behind No. 14 Fok Kow in three sets, and Edoardo Melindo at #6 with a 6-3, 6-3 score.
