MELBOURNE, Fla. – The final Sunshine State Conference weekly baseball awards tabbed Florida Southern College's
Jaiden Warde as the SSC Baseball Player of the Week.

Warde ended the 2024 season with an incredible weekend sweep of Florida Tech, outscoring the Panthers 46-to-15. Batting .615 for the weekend, Warde had eight hits and eight RBI for the three games. The Longwood, Fla. native went a perfect four-for-four in game one of the series that included two walks, no strikeouts, and a homer. His six RBI was the most RBI in a single game by SSC player this year. A single hit in the first doubleheader game, the graduate student added another three hits in his five at-bats for two runs and two RBI in the final game of the season. Playing second base for the weekend, Warde added seven assists, five putouts, and no errors on defense.

All-SSC baseball awards will be announced by the conference office tomorrow, May 14, with All-South and All-America awards to follow.
