LAKELAND, Fla. – The Florida Southern College women's swimming team opened 2025 with a dual meet win over Westminster College on Monday afternoon at the Nina B. Hollis Wellness Center Pool.

The Moccasins, who received votes in the latest CSCAA Top 25 Poll, beat the Titans 129-61 in team scoring, with several top finishers for FSC.

The dual meet opened with the 400 medley relay as a team of
Zoë Celi, Alexa Paredes, Elizabeth Sikes, and
Phoebe Reid won with a time of 4:00.25.
Olivia Miles then won the 1000 free in 10:46.09, followed by
Emma Sammons at 11:04.91. In the 200 free,
Ainsley Bennett won in 1:59.39 with Sikes in second with 2:03.10. The Mocs had a sweep of the 50 free as
Sam Hunter won in 24.78, with
Ana Sales in second with 24.88, and
Kaitlyn Weitz in third with 25.71.

Miles won her second event of the day with a 2:11.53 time in the 200 IM, volowed by
Anya Bogdanova with 2:14.38, and
Vanda Voroshazy in third with 2:15.69. Sikes then took the top time in the 100 fly with 58.42, followed by Reid winning the 100 free in 54.24. In the 100 back, Celi won in 52.11, with another win for Bennett in the 500 free with a time of 5:19.99. The final individual event of the day was the 100 breaststroke as Paredes won in 1:08.63. The meet ended with the 200 free relay as Hunter, Sales, Reid, and Celi won in 1:40.74.

The Mocs will remain at home to host Lynn University on Jan. 17 and Nova Southeastern University on Jan. 18 at the Nina B. Hollis Wellness Center Pool.
