TAMPA, Fla. — The No. 13 Florida Southern College men's swimming team lost its dual meet against No. 2 University of Tampa, with a 230.5-90.5 loss.
FSC's men's team had some great events, highlighted by standout performances in the 200-yard medley relay and individual events.
Daniel Meszaros claimed second in the men's 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:40.59, while
Janek Barczyk secured a close second in the 100-yard breaststroke, clocking in at 55.49 seconds. The Mocs' men's team concluded the day with a strong first-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay.

William Eriksson achieved a fourth-place finish in the Men's 400 Yard Medley Relay, contributing to a team time of 3:21.85. He also secured a fourth-place finish in the Men's 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 51.10.
Meszaros placed second in the Men's 200 Yard Freestyle and contributed to a first-place finish for the Mocs in the Men's 200 Yard Freestyle Relay.
Matheus Da Rocha tied for third in the 50 freestyle, with a time of 21.17.
Will Neville had a great swim with a third-place finish in the 100 free in a time of 46.70.Â
Looking ahead, Mocs will compete in the Florida State Quad Meet in Tallahassee, Fla., on October 24 at 2 p.m.
