COLUMBIA, S.C. - The No. 12 Florida Southern College men's swimming team finished day two of the Gamecock Invitational at the Carolina Natatorium, hosted by the University of South Carolina on Wednesday night.

Nino Viallon placed eighth in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 47.63, highlighting the team's competitive efforts.
Simeon Prosinski secured a seventh-place finish in the 400-yard individual medley, clocking in at 3:54.17.
Daniel Meszaros achieved an eighth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle, completing his race in 1:37.39.
Janek Barczyk advanced through the prelims in the 100-yard breaststroke with a fifth-place finish, posting a time of 53.61.
For the finals, the night was highlighted by Barczyk's fifth-place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 53.57 seconds. Viallon contributed significantly, securing ninth place in the 100-yard butterfly, clocking in at 48.14 seconds.
Viallon led the Moccasins with a ninth-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly, and contributed to a sixth-place result in the 200-yard medley relay. Barczyk secured fifth place in the 100-yard breaststroke and was part of the 200-yard medley relay team that finished sixth. Prosinski placed seventh in the 400-yard individual medley with a time of 3:52.83, adding 16 points to the team's tally.
Day three of the Gamecock Invitational will feature the 100 back, 200 BR, 500 free, 50 free, 200 FR, and 400 MR, all taking place tomorrow with prelims at 10 a.m. and the finals at 6 p.m. at the Carolina Natatorium.
