DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – The Florida Southern College men's tennis team wrapped up its fall schedule by participating in the ERAU Invite, hosted by Embry-Riddle, at the Crotty Tennis Complex this weekend.

The Moccasins had a productive showing, going 47-18 overall, including 30-9 in singles competition. The Mocs also sent doubles teams, finishing with a 17-9 overall record in the doubles draws.Â

On the opening day of competition, the Mocs had a big day, with
Mario Garoz, Marco Cinotti, and
Mario Antonio Morales winning their matches in the Gold draw. In the singles Blue draw, FSC had
Jacob Stahlgren Schmidt, Onur Turgut, George Russell, Gabriel Jornert, and
Bosko Boskovic win their matches. The final White draw had another strong showing with
Yeray Quian Darriba, Edoardo Melindo, and
Hunter Nussbaum winning.

The success continued into day two with several more FSC wins, including Russell, Jornert, Turgut, Darriba, Melindo,
Leon Bircanin, and Stahlgren Schmidt advancing. FSC also competed with Cinotti, Morales,
Youssef ElShafei, Matthew Hewitt, and Boskovic on the final day of action.
Individual highlights include Antonio Morales going 7-0 combined, Darriba 6-1 overall, with Turgut and Russell each 3-0 in singles. Hewitt and Antonio Morales also went an undefeated 3-0 in doubles.Â

Florida Southern will take some time before starting the championship season, beginning Spring 2026, for an opportunity at another NCAA regional appearance.
