COLUMBIA, S.C. – The No. 12 Florida Southern College men's swimming team finished the Gamecock Invitational with a fourth-place finish after four days of competition at the Carolina Natatorium.

FSC finished in fourth place with 624 points. The University of North Carolina won the invite, followed by the University of Tampa and the University of South Carolina. Â The Mocs finished ahead of Carson-Newman University and Savannah College of Art and Design.

The prelims,
Simeon Prosinski secured a notable 39th place in the 200-yard IM with a time of 1:49.73.
Matheus Da Rocha secured a strong 10th place in the 100-yard freestyle preliminaries with a time of 44.41, while
Will Neville closely followed in 13th position, clocking in at 44.63. Prosinski demonstrated versatility, finishing 12th in the 200-yard butterfly preliminaries at 1:49.22.
Janek Barczyk achieved a 23rd-place finish in the 200-yard individual medley, recording a time of 1:54.83.

In the finals, Prosinski finished seventh in 1:48.71 in the 200 IM, with other FSC finishers Barczyk in 16

th. For the 100 free, Da Rocha was third overall in 43.65, with a good swim by Prosinski in the 200 fly in 1:47.36.

Tristan Clanton were top-20 finishers in the 200 fly.

th in the 200 back and

th, with the FSC A team in 4
th of the 400 free relay with a time of 2:55.03.

The Mocs will take a short break before the final home dual meet of the year on Dec. 12 against Indian River State College at 3 p.m. at the Nina B. Hollis Wellness Center Pool.
