OCALA, Fla. - The No. 24 Florida Southern College women's swimming team finished the 2025 Sunshine State Conference Championships in fourth place at the F.A.S.T. Center.

The Moccasins finished in fourth place with 383.5 points overall. The University of Tampa won the conference title with 948 points, five points ahead of Nova Southeastern University in second place with 943 points. Lynn University finished ahead of FSC with 602.5 points.

In prelims,
Sam Hunter led FSC in 50.52 to make the A final. Outside of a B final appearance,
Elizabeth Sikes finished 23
rd overall,
Ana Sales in 26
th,
Phoebe Reid in 27
th, and
Kaitlyn Weitz in 34
th. FSC did not have anyone make the A final in the 200 back, but
Zoë Celi and
Ainsley L. Bennett made the B final with 11
th and 12
th place overall morning times. In the 200 breast,
Alizee Pelletier made the A final with 2:17.65 and fourth overall. Outside the B final was
Alexa Paredes in 17th place.Â
In the evening heat of the 1650 free,
Olivia Miles finished sixth overall with a time of 17:15.84.
Emma Sammons finished 10
th overall with 17:40.65. In the A final of the 100 free, Hunter finished eighth with 51.12. For the 200 back, Bennett was third in the B final with 2:05.56 and Celi in fourth with 2:06.18. In the 200 breast, Pelletier finished eighth overall in 2:19.13, to wrap up the individual events of the championship.

The last event of the five-day championship was the 400 free relay in which a team of Bennett, Sales, Sammons, and Miles finished in 3:34.88, fifth in the B final. In the A final heat, a team of Hunter,Â
Vanda Voroshazy, Sikes, and Reid finished in third place with a time of 3:28.86.

The Mocs will await the announcement of the national qualifiers to be announced in the coming weeks. The NCAA Championship will take place March 11-15 at the IU Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
