LAKELAND, Fla. – The No. 27 Florida Southern College men's tennis team extended its win streak to four matches after a 6-1 win over Thomas Jefferson University on Thursday afternoon at the Wynee Warden Tennis Center.

The Moccasins (8-4, 1-2 SSC) won all but one singles court and won the doubles point in the dominating DII win. The Rams (3-2, 0-0 CACC) had a win at the #1 court but could not halt the Mocs to a match win.

In doubles, the No. 47 pairing of
Chris Fok Kow and
Mario Garoz won 6-0 at the #1 court, followed by a 6-3 win by
Bosko Boskovic and
Gabriel Jornert at the #2 court. At the #3 court,
Sam Frizelle and
George Russell outlasted their opponents with a 7-6 (7-5) win to sweep the doubles field.

For singles, Garoz opened the scoring with a commanding 6-1, 6-3 win at #3, his seventh-straight win. Russell followed with a 6-3, 6-0 win at #4 and a 6-1, 6-1 win at #5 for
Matthew Hewitt. Boskovic won 6-1 in set one and outlasted his opponent in set two for a 7-6 (8-6) court win at #6. The only FSC loss in singles was at the #1 court as No. 55 Frizelle lost 6-4, 6-3 to Mario Antonio. At the #2 court, Fok Kow had another lengthy match, losing his first set but rallying for a set two win and winning the tiebreak to lead FSC to a 6-1 victory.

The Mocs will host their fifth match of the week with Rider University on Sunday, March 13, set for a noon start at the Wynee Warden Tennis Center.
