The Florida Southern men's basketball team will compete in the NCAA Tournament. The Moccasins were selected as the No. 3 seed in the upcoming NCAA South Region Championship, which will be held at Nova Southeastern University. The Moccasins are making a second straight appearance in the NCAA tournament and will open play against No. 6 Montevallo.
Regional finalists from 2023-24, Florida Southern will be making its 34th trip in program history and its fifth under current head coach

The Mocs are one of three Sunshine State Conference programs represented in this year's regional, boasting a record of 47-32 all-time in NCAA postseason play, which includes two NCAA Division II national championships: the first in 1981 and the most recent in 2015. The Mocs hold a record of 15-17 in first-round games and 34-25 overall in regional competition.
The top three seeds in the 2024-25 South Regional are repeat teams from the 2024 tournament with No. 1 Nova Southeastern and No. 3 Florida Southern maintaining their respective seeds while No. 2 Alabama-Huntsville moved up from the fourth seed.
South Regional play begins on Saturday, March 15, at Rick Case Arena on the campus of Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. No. 3 Florida Southern and No. 6 Montevallo will open play at noon. The regional tournament will take place from March 15 to 18. Check FSCMocs.com later in the week for more details.
