VALDOSTA, Ga. - The No.34 Florida Southern College women's tennis team stepped out of Sunshine State Conference action traveling north to face Valdosta University on Saturday afternoon defeating the Blazers 4-0 to clinch at the VSU Tennis Courts.
The Moccasins (14-4 ) earned the early point in doubles play winning all three doubles matches. As the top doubles spot of
Kelly Klaren and
Kennedi Brown won 6-0 followed by the #3 doubles of
Annika Berrendorf and
Jolie Miller with a 6-2 final and #2 doubles pair
Emily Jennewein and
Ronja Scheuermann winning 6-4 to take an early 1-0 lead.
In singles action, Klaren moved FSC to a 2-0 lead winning the #6 singles spot with a 6-3, 6-0 final, followed by Jennewein winning court #5 winning both sets 6-3 to make it 3-0 in favor of the Mocs.

Olivia Bryant made it 4-0 winning the top singles court with 6-4, 6-4 final.
Florida Southern returns to action tomorrow facing off against No.10 West Florida at the VSU Tennis Courts. The match is scheduled to start at 10:00 a.m.
