ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The No. 19 Florida Southern College men's tennis team won its road match 6-1 against Eckerd College on Saturday afternoon at the Fred Bullard Courts.

The Moccasins (13-5, 3-3 SSC) won doubles and nearly all of the singles courts in another conference win this year. The Tritons (9-7, 0-6 SSC) managed a single court win but were unable to get a match win to remain winless in conference action.

In doubles,
Chris Fok Kow and
Mario Garoz, ranked No. 36 in the latest ITA rankings, beat their EC competition, followed by a win at the #3 court for
Sam Frizelle and
Matthew Hewitt.
Bosko Boskovic and
Gabriel Jornert also won their court to sweep the doubles competition and the doubles point.

For singles, No. 55 Garoz won 6-2, 6-2, followed by a 7-5, 6-1 win by Fok Kow at the #2 court. No. 69 Frizelle then won 6-2, 6-2 to clinch the match.
Leon Bircanin had a win at the #6 court, 6-1, 3-6, 1-0 (6). Hewitt rounded out the FSC wins and sixth point with a retired match at the #4 court. Boskovic had a close match at the #5 court, losing the tiebreak for the 6-1 team score.

The Mocs will return to Lakeland to host Rollins College on Thursday, April 10, for Senior Day at the Wynee Warden Tennis Center.
