WINTER PARK, Fla. — No. 13 Florida Southern College men's swimming team showcased a strong performance against No. 24 Rollins College, winning the conference dual meet on Friday afternoon at the Alfond Swimming Pool.
The Mocs finished with 112 points over the Tars' 92 points, the second Sunshine State Conference dual meet win of the season.
Peter Csicsaky secured first place in the 1000-yard freestyle, clocking 9:30.03, and added another victory in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:35.12.
Daniel Meszaros claimed the top spot in the 200-yard freestyle, finishing in 1:41.15, and also placed second in the 200-yard butterfly at 1:51.92.
Matheus Da Rocha dominated the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 20.82 and also contributed to the winning 200-yard freestyle relay team, which finished in 1:21.62 alongside
Nino Viallon, Michael Tretyakov, and
Will Neville. In the 400 IM,
Simeon Prosinski won the event with a time of 4:04.84.

- 200 Yard Medley Relay — Florida Southern A placed second in 1:30.40; Florida Southern B finished fourth in 1:34.68; Florida Southern C took fifth in 1:35.74.
- 200 Yard Freestyle Relay — Florida Southern A won with a time of 1:21.62; Florida Southern B finished fourth in 1:26.20; Florida Southern C placed fifth in 1:31.14.

- 1000 Yard Freestyle — Csicsaky took first in 9:30.03;
Daniel Cushing placed third in 9:43.11.
- 200 Yard Freestyle — Meszaros won in 1:41.15;
Gianni Famiano finished fourth in 1:45.07.
- 50 Yard Freestyle — Da Rocha claimed first in 20.82; Tretyakov took second in 21.16.
- 100 Yard Freestyle — Da Rocha led in 45.84; Neville followed in second with 46.07.
- 400 Yard IM — Prosinski won with a time of 4:04.84;
Bennett Baer placed second in 4:12.65.
- 500 Yard Freestyle — Csicsaky won in 4:35.12; Cushing took third with 4:39.29.
- 200 Yard Breaststroke — Prosinski secured second in 2:05.30;
Janek Barczyk placed fourth in 2:12.15.
In their next event, the Moccasins will face No. 17 Nova Southeastern University on Friday, January 23, at 2 p.m. ET. The matchup will take place in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
