ORLANDO, Fla. – Florida Southern College had two Moccasins represented in the Sunshine State Conference weekly awards, with Peter Csicsaky selected as Men's Swimmer of the Week and Charlie Dalton as the Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.
 
Csicsaky earned the swimming weekly honor after a big week for No. 12 Florida Southern, winning two dual meets and taking three individual events himself. In dual meets against No. 17 Nova Southeastern and Barry, Csicsaky won the 500 free in 4:25.47, a B-cut time. He also swam in the 200 free, with a third-place podium spot with a time of 1:39.12. The senior distance swimmer was also the final leg of the 400 free relay on the B team with a third-place finish. Against No. 8 Lynn, the Hungarian won the 1000 free in 9:49.45 and the 500 free in 4:40.43. He wrapped up the final event of the regular season with a fourth-place finish on the 400 free relay B team in 3:10.70.
 
Dalton had a record week, helping the Moccasins to a dominant 2-0 week in SSC play, defeating Tampa to open the week before avenging their early conference slate loss to Lynn. Dalton led Florida Southern in rebounds on the week, averaging 9.5, and shared the team lead in blocks with three. In the week's opener against Tampa, Dalton grabbed eight boards, with one block and one steal. He added 11 points and an assist in the game. His standout performance was in the Mocs' win over Lynn, where he earned his first career triple-double, the first program triple-double since 2021 and the program's sixth overall. He scored 18 points while grabbing 11 rebounds and 11 assists. He had two steals and two blocks in the game. On the week, he shot 62.5% and averaged 14.5 points.
