SPARKS, Md. - After a 2-0 start to the 2026 season, Florida Southern women's lacrosse has moved up to first in the USA Lacrosse Magazine Division II Rankings.
Florida Southern (2-0) is coming off a win over conference opponent then #11/#10 Lynn to open at home on Friday afternoon, 13-10. The Mocs outdrew Lynn 17-6 in the game, with Kolby Cohen leading the Mocs with seven draw controls. On the offensive side, Jenna Vetter and Lindsey Tolliver lifted the Moccasin attack with three goals apiece.
This week, #4/#1 Florida Southern travels up to Huntsville, Ala. where the Mocs will face Alabama Huntsville and the University of Indianapolis. UIndy is coming off a hot week, upsetting then #1 and reigning national champion Tampa.
The Mocs face off against UAH on Thursday at 8:00 PM EST, before taking on UIndy Saturday at 12:00 PM EST.
