SPARKS, Md. - Florida Southern women's lacrosse opens the 2026 season ranked in the top-10 nationally and third overall in the USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Rankings.
"The Mocs were undefeated against everyone except Tampa last year, losing all three games against their Sunshine State Conference rivals. FSC's last five losses, dating back to April 2024, have all come against Tampa."
The Moccasins open their season on February 8th against No. 16/17* Wingate on the road in Wingate, N.C. Florida Southern opens its home slate in a non-conference matchup against No. 11/10* Lynn on February 13th.
11 of the Moccasins' 16 opponents for the 2026 slate were ranked in the top 20 of the USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Rankings, including four of their seven Sunshine State Conference opponents.
