VALDOSTA, Ga. - With a final round of 287, the No. 4 Florida Southern men's golf team held on for a fifth-place finish to the First Federal Southeastern Collegiate at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club in Valdosta, Ga.
Max Barile led the Mocs with a top-5 finish. He shot a 7-under 209, shooting 1-under in the final round. He carded three birdies on the day.
Donte Groppuso finished one stroke off the Mocs' leader Barile, with a three-round score of 210. For a tied-6th finish, Groppuso shot one-under in the round today, with two birdies and 15 pars.
Tyler Mistretta shot even on the day, to finish the tournament tied-22nd. He carded three birdies, and finished with a three-round score of 215. Colton Swartz, one stroke off Mistretta, finished the tournament tied-28th, with an even three-round score of 216.
Anthony Monteleone rounded out the Moccasin lineup, finishing tied-54th. The freshman finished with a 6-over 222 and shot a 1-over 73 in the final round.
Chris Pollak competed as an individual and finished tied-77th. He finished the tournament with a three-round score of 227 (+11).
West Florida took home the team title, with a three-round score of 843 (-21). Harry Dickins of Lincoln Memorial kept the lead and took the individual title with a 13-under 203.

The Moccasins return to the Sunshine State to compete at the Shark Invitational on March 23-24. Nova Southeastern will host the Shark Invitational at Grande Oaks Golf Club in Davie, Fla.
