LAKELAND, Fla. — No. 9 Florida Southern College men's tennis (9-3) defeated Thomas Jefferson University (2-6) 7-0 on Thursday at the Wynee Warden Tennis Center. Florida Southern secured the doubles point with victories at the No. 1 and No. 2 positions and swept all six singles matches.

Bosko Boskovic and
Gabriel Jornert earned a 6-1 victory over Johary Rabetrano and Nicholas Trebuchet. The match at No. 3 doubles was left unfinished with the Florida Southern pair,
Mario Garoz and
Edoardo Melindo, trailing 4-5 against An Mateos Melenchon and Jules Thibault.
In singles, Florida Southern continued its strong performance.
Marco Cinotti opened with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Quentin Duvinage at No. 4 singles.
Matthew Hewitt followed with a 6-0, 6-4 victory at No. 2 singles against Johary Rabetrano. #16 Garoz added another point at No. 1 singles, overcoming Nicholas Trebuchet 6-2, 7-6(4).
Boskovic contributed with a 6-1, 6-0 win over Filip Slavkovic at No. 5 singles, while Turgut secured a three-set win at No. 3 singles, defeating Jules Thibault 6-3, 3-6, 10-1. The sweep was completed by
Yeray Quian Darriba, who posted a 6-2, 6-4 triumph over Matt Cizmarik at No. 6 singles, giving the Mocs a comprehensive victory.
