PENSACOLA, Fla. - After finishing the second round of play and completing the third round, the No. 4 Florida Southern men's golf team finished the Argonaut Invitational tied-third at the Pensacola Country Club.
Tyler Mistretta vaulted up the leader board with a career-low round of 66 today. He carded seven birdies and ten pars in the final round for a top-five finish (tied-4th).
Max Barile also posted a top-10 finish, one stroke off Mistretta. He carded five birdies in the final round to shoot a 2-under 77. Barile finished the tournament tied-6th with an eight-under score of 208.
Colton Swartz finished tied-23rd, shooting even in the tournament. He closed with a four-over final round of 76.
Anthony Monteleone shot his best round of the tournament with a four-under 68 to close. He finished tied-38th and carded five birdies in the final round.
Chris Pollak rounded out the Moccasin lineup, finishing tied-69th with a three-round score of 229. Pollak carded four birdies and an eagle in the final round.
Jaylen Abbas competed as an individual for the Mocs and finished tied-81st, with a three-round score of 235. He carded two birdies in the final round today.
West Florida was the team winner at -25, and Sacha Corlouer (Georgia Southwestern) was the individual winner at -11.

The Moccasins will compete in the Sunshine State Conference tournament hosted by Saint Leo at the Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club in Dade City, Fla., on April 19-21.
