LAKELAND, Fla. – The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) has released the next round of 2026 regional rankings, with the Florida Southern College men's tennis team ranked sixth in a stacked South Region.

The Moccasins were named one of the 10 teams under consideration in last week's first regional rankings and are now sixth in the first rankings by order. FSC joins five other Sunshine State Conference programs in the regional rankings, including Barry (No. 1), Saint Leo (No. 3), Embry-Riddle (No. 9), and Lynn (No. 10). Eight teams in the region, including conference champions, will be featured in the regional championship.

In the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings, the Mocs moved back into the top 10, now ranked No. 9 in the nation. In singles rankings,Â
Mario Garoz moved up to No. 7, andÂ
Mario Antonio Morales is also in the top 75, ranked No. 62. For doubles rankings,
George Russell and
Onur Turgut moved up to No. 20, with Garoz and
Edoardo Melindo No. 26.

Florida Southern enters postseason with a 17-5 season, the most wins during the regular season since 2007. The Mocs enter the SSC Championships as the No. 4 seed and will face No. 23 Lynn in the quarterfinals on Thursday, April 30, in Boca Raton. Hosted by the Fighting Knights, the SSC Championship will take place April 30-May 2 at the Perper Tennis Complex.

In the NCAA postseason, the Mocs have made 22 appearances in their program history, including the last two seasons. Official NCAA postseason selections will take place on Monday, May 4, on NCAA.com. Regional rounds for the NCAA Championships will occur May 11 and 12 at host sites, followed by the finals May 19-24 at the Surprise Tennis & Racquet Complex in Surprise, Ariz.
