LAKELAND, Fla. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's Tennis Teams have been released to include four from the Florida Southern College men's tennis team.
Bosko Boskovic, Marco Cinotti, Gabriel Jornert, and
Edoardo Melindo were honored as Academic All-District recipients this season. Boskovic earned his second consecutive academic award from CSC, and the first award for Cinotti, Jornert, and Melindo in their careers. Awards are issued based on the academic and athletic achievements of the student-athletes throughout the 2025-26 season.
Boskovic, an accounting major, was awarded the second academic award of his career, while also leading the team to a stellar 2026 season. The Toronto, Ontario native recorded an 11-7 record, primarily at the #5 court, as the Mocs had their third-straight NCAA appearance this week. He paired with Jornert at the #2 court for a 15-8 overall record, including six wins in the last 10 matches.
Cinotti is majoring in business analytics and earned his first academic award with the Moccasins in 2026. He tied
Mario Garoz for a team-high 17 singles wins this season, winning nine of the last 10 matches this year. A native of Fano, Italy, Cinotti recorded a win against No. 72 Joao Margado in singles, locking down the #4 spot in the lineup for FSC.
Jornert is continuing his education majoring in applied mathematics and statistics, and a key leader on the FSC squad. Joined by Boskovic at the #2 court in doubles, Jornert had a 15-8 overall record. The MoeIndal, Sweden native had key wins against No. 2 West Florida and No. 4 Wayne State this year as the Mocs had 17 regular season wins.
Melindo is the final Moccasin with an academic award this year, a senior captain on the team. He had one appearance in singles but was a key figure in the doubles lineup, joined with Garoz on a 16-3 overall record at the #3 court. The finance major from Torino, Italy, was ranked as high as No. 25 in doubles, most recently No. 44 in the latest ITA rankings.
