ORLANDO, Fla. – The Sunshine State Conference has released the 2026 All-SSC Softball Teams, with Florida Southern College's
Nei Nei De Jesus selected to the Second Team as a catcher.
De Jesus earned all-conference accolades after a stellar sophomore season with the Moccasins. She is the first FSC catcher selected to an all-conference team since the 2023 season (Destiny Colgate) and 13
th overall in program history.
With 32 games played and 26 starts, De Jesus was a strong point behind the plate for the Mocs. She recorded 16 hits, three doubles, and two triples for a .225 average. The Clermont, Fla. native tallied six RBI, drawing six walks and adding two stolen bases. As one of the leading catchers, De Jesus had 75 putouts, nine assists, and three caught stealing for a .944 fielding percentage. Standout performances for De Jesus include three multi-hit games, including a 2-for-3 outing in a win over Adelphi.
