LAKELAND, Fla. - The College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2025-26 Academic All-District Softball Teams have been released, with Florida Southern College's Emma Lucchesi named an honoree.
 
Lucchesi, a business administration major, had a great year for the Moccasins, starting 40 of her 41 games played. FSC's second baseman for 2026, Lucchesi tallied 19 hits and added five stolen bases. She had three games with multi-hit outings, against Lander, Palm Beach Atlantic, and Lynn, all batting 2-for-3 at the plate. In the game against PBA, Lucchesi had two runs scored as FSC shut out the Sailfish 5-0.
 
The sophomore year for Lucchesi added to her successful career at FSC, with a majority of starts at second base in both seasons. In her freshman season, the Jupiter, Fla. native had a .228 batting average, playing in 30 games. For her career, Lucchesi is batting .213 with 71 games played with over 170 putouts and nearly 100 assists as a fielder.
 
This is the fourth year in a row that FSC softball has had a selection to the CSC Academic All-District Team.
