Assistant men's basketball coach Ryan Kardok announces his departure from Florida Southern to take over as the head men's basketball coach at Webber International University.
Kardok spent three years with the Mocs, and helped Florida Southern to three straight NCAA Tournament Appearances, including an NCAA Sweet Sixteen appearance in 2024. Kardok was an instrumental role into developing several Moccasin greats over the past three years, including All-Americans Luke Anderson and Jadin Booth, as well as Amare Miller in his final year as a Moc. Florida Southern players under Kardok's leadership also earned five First Team All-Conference selections, four All-Defensive Team honors, two All-American selections, one SSC Player of the Year award, and two SSC Defensive Player of the Year honors.
Kardok joins the Warriors who were 10-19 in the 2025-26 season, as a fresh look to improve in an already competitive SUN Conference.
"Congratulations to Ryan and his family!" stated Moccasins' head coach Mike Donnelly. "He has worked incredibly hard throughout his coaching career, and he is certainly deserving of this opportunity. Ryan did a fantastic job for us the last three years and will be missed, but we very happy for him. He will do great things at Webber."
