Men's Tennis Ranked #13 in Final ITA Poll

LAKELAND, Fla. – The final Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division II rankings have been released with Florida Southern College men's tennis ranked No. 13, the highest final ranking for the Moccasins since 2010.

During head coach Rhett Rollyson's tenure at Florida Southern, the Moccasins have continued to improve each year, finishing in the top 20 of the ITA poll since 2023. FSC finished No. 20 in 2023, No. 18 in 2024, No. 17 in 2025, and now No. 13 in 2026. The best finish since 2010 (No. 7), the Mocs were as high as No. 8 in the ITA Division II poll on March 18, highlighted by a big win over then-No. 4 Wayne State University.

"I am really happy with how the season played out," said Rollyson. "Of course, the goal was to finish in the top 10 and make it to nationals, so we are happy but not satisfied. Tying a school record with 17 regular-season wins and making our third straight trip to regionals is something to be proud of. Add a team GPA of 3.8, and winning the ITA Community Service Award again was icing on the cake."

The Mocs finished the 2026 season with a 17-7 overall record, with 17 regular-season wins, the most since 2007. FSC went 7-5 against ranked opponents in team dual scores over that period, including a win over the 2025 Division II national champions, Valdosta State University, in one of the best wins in program history. In league play, FSC went 4-3, securing a four-seed in the Sunshine State Conference tournament. The Mocs later received an at-large bid in the NCAA regional tournament, their third straight appearance, with a narrow loss in the first round.

Final Division II singles and doubles rankings were also released, with Florida Southern well represented. Mario Garoz was ranked No. 10 in singles to earn an All-American honor. Mario Antonio Morales ranked in the top 75 as No. 63. Marco Cinotti was No. 91, and Bosko Boskovic was No. 159 in ITA singles. In doubles, George Russell and Onur Turgut finished No. 16, Garoz and Edoardo Melindo No. 50, and Boskovic and Gabriel Jornert No. 83.
