Five Women’s Cross Country/Track Student-Athletes Named CSC Academic All-District®

LAKELAND, Fla. – Five Florida Southern College women's cross country and track student-athletes were named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC), formerly CoSIDA, Women's Track and Field/Cross Country Academic All-District, when the association released the teams on Tuesday (June 23). The Moccasins saw Caitlin Beery, Rachel Hockenberry, Emma Pfeiffer, Heloise Pinto and Grace Reed receive the honor.
 
Beery earns her first CSC Academic All-District honor after a strong senior season for the Moccasins. She is a four-time Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll and a two-time SSC Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll recipient after outdoor track was added to the conference following her sophomore season. She maintained a perfect 4.00 GPA all throughout her career while studying Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. On the track, she holds both the overall and freshman records in the indoor 800m while being part of the school record 4x400m relay and 4x800m relay teams. 
 
Hockenberry earns her second career CSC Academic All-District honors after picking up the award following her sophomore campaign. She is a four-time Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll and a two-time SSC Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll recipient after outdoor track was added to the conference following her sophomore season. She earned her first spot on the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team this past cross country season. While competing on both the cross country course and track, Hockenberry worked to complete her Nursing degree while holding a GPA above 3.6 over her four years. The senior posted the second and third fastest 5,000m times on the team this past season while posting top-10 finishes in five of her six races during the outdoor season.
 
Pfeiffer earns her first CSC Academic All-District honor following her junior season. She is a three-time Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll and a two-time SSC Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll recipient. She has been studying Criminology at Florida Southern while maintaining a GPA of 3.89. She is a two-time USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete in cross country. She earned a pair of top-10 finishes during the indoor track season while adding two more during the outdoor campaign. She placed seventh overall at the 2026 SSC Championships in the 10,000m.
 
 
Pinto earns her first CSC Academic All-District honor in her first season of eligibility. She is a two-time Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll and a two-time SSC Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll recipient. She has maintained a perfect 4.00 GPA while working on her Nursing degree. She was named a USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete following the cross country season. During this past season's indoor campaign, she posted the third-best 3,000m time on the team and the fourth-fastest mile. During the outdoor season, she was the second-fastest individual in the 800m on the team while posting the fifth-best 5,000m time. She was part of the top 4x400m relay team while also helping break the school record in the 4x800m relay at the Running Elements Classic in Daytona Beach, Fla.
 
Reed picks up her first CSC Academic All-District honor after an outstanding junior season for the Moccasins. She is a three-time Sunshine State Conference Commissioner's Fall Honor Roll and a two-time SSC Commissioner's Spring Honor Roll recipient. She maintained a 3.84 GPA while studying Exercise Science. She was the Moccasins top cross country performer all season as she led the team in five of the six races in which she competed. She earned USTFCCCA All-South Region honors following her 18th place finish at the NCAA South Region Championships. She picked up USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, the third of her career. During the outdoor track season, Reed was named Second Team All-SSC in the 10,000m while also earning USTFCCCA All-Region honors in the event as well. She became the first FSC women's track student-athlete to qualify for the NCAA Championships and competed in the 10,000m just over a month ago in late May. She holds both the freshman and overall indoor track program records in the mile, 3,000m and 5,000m with all three school record times coming this past season. For outdoor track, she holds the program records in both the 1,500m and 10,000m and both those performances came this past season.
 
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
 
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
