LAKELAND, Fla. – The 2026 schedule for Florida Southern College women's soccer has been released by head coach
Maddi Moon in her first season at the helm of Moccasin soccer.

"I am really excited to get started with this group," said Moon about her first year at Florida Southern. "We have a challenging non-conference schedule that will prepare us well for the Sunshine State Conference and ultimately, postseason play. Every match will be an opportunity to grow, compete, and continue building the standard we want here at Florida Southern."

The Moccasins have 17 games scheduled in the 2026 slate, featuring eight games at Berend Field. Four of the opponents faced ended the 2025 season nationally ranked or receiving votes in the United Soccer Coaches poll, including the 2025 National Champion Florida Tech Panthers.

Florida Southern will open the 2026 season on the road to Georgia as the Mocs face Columbus State University on Thursday, Aug. 27. FSC will then travel to Americus to take on Georgia Southwestern University on Saturday, Aug. 29, before heading back to Lakeland. The home opener for the Mocs will be against Spring Hill College on Thursday, Sept. 3, with a 7:00 p.m. start on Berend Field.

The Mocs will continue their home-opening weekend with a matchup against Flagler College, a future SSC opponent starting in 2027, on Saturday, Sept. 5. On Wednesday, Sept. 9, the Mocs will host Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in a non-conference matchup before hitting the road again. A weekend trip to South Carolina will end the out-of-state competition for FSC, facing USC-Aiken on Saturday, Sept. 12.

Conference play will open on Wednesday, Sept. 12, as the Mocs host Eckerd College, then travel south to Boca Raton to take on Lynn University on Saturday, Sept. 19. The following Saturday, Sept. 26, FSC will host Nova Southeastern University before taking a short trip to Saint Leo University on Wednesday, Sept. 30, to end the September schedule.

October will begin with a home game on Saturday, Oct. 3, to face Rollins College, followed by the final non-conference game of the season on the road in Jacksonville against Edward Waters University on Wednesday, Oct. 7. The final three road games of the regular season will include Palm Beach Atlantic University on Saturday, Oct. 10, Embry-Riddle on Wednesday, Oct. 14, and the University of Tampa on Wednesday, Oct. 21.

The regular season will end with two home games, the first being a game against Barry University on Saturday, Oct. 24. The finale will then be against Florida Tech, the defending 2025 NCAA DII National Champions, on Tuesday, Oct. 27. The SSC Championship is scheduled to begin on Monday, Nov. 2, with the quarterfinals round. Semifinals are scheduled for Nov. 5, and the championship on Nov. 8.

The NCAA postseason will have the first and second rounds between Nov. 12-15, with the third round and quarterfinals on Nov. 19-22. The semifinal and final rounds will be part of the NCAA DII Fall Festival, taking place in Kansas City, Dec. 3-5.
