The Moccasins had to settle for a split of their two-match road trip to Pensacola, dropping Friday's match to ninth-ranked West Florida 5-2. Both Argonauts and the Moccasins are 9-7 for the season.
West Florida took two of the three doubles matches, then captured three of the four singles matches that were played to claim the win. The No. 1 and No. 2 singles matches were not played since the Argonauts had already clinched the match.
C.J. Johnson had the Moccasins' only singles win at No. 5.
The Moccasins return to Sunshine State Conference action Tuesday with a 3 p.m. home match against Saint Leo.
