Florida Southern's schedule for Tuesday, March 15 in Clermont has been modified, with the Moccasins now playing Franklin Pierce University (NH) in a single game at 3:30 p.m., followed by a game against the University of New Haven (CT) at 7:30. Both games are at the National Training Center. The Mocs were originally scheduled to play two games against Franklin Pierce. The first game will also start late due an earlier game running long on that field. As of 3:30, the game between New York Tech and St. Michael's (VT) was in the bottom of the 5th inning.
The Moccasins are 8-8 overall this season, and have won five of their last six games. They're coming off a weekend series against Saint Leo, in which they took two-of-three from the Lions. Their new opponent on Tuesday, New Haven, is the defending regular season champion from the Northeast-10 Conference and was the East Region runner-up in 2010 with a 42-8 record. The Chargers have started this year 6-0.
