DELAND, FL - Florida Southern College beach volleyball dropped a 5-0 decision to Stetson on Friday at the Stetson Beach Blast. The Moccasins (1-4) were unable to match a strong lineup put out by the Hatters (6-5). Florida Southern fell in straight sets in each matchup, with the team of Courtney Charneco and Makena Wilson nearly pushing their No. 3 match to three sets before ultimately falling by a 21-9, 2-19 final.
The Mocs are back in action tomorrow with matchups against Mercer (12 p.m.) and Texas A&M Kingsville (4 p.m.). Florida Southern will play its first home matches of the year on March 17 against Stevenson (11 a.m.) and Saint Leo (3 p.m.).
