GAINESVILLE, FL - Addison Cantor and Alayna Goll continued a historic 2019 season for women's track on Friday night in Gainesville, setting two top-10 times in the 5000m at the Tom Jones Memorial Invitational. Cantor set the fifth-fastest time in school history (17:55.02) while Goll set the eighth-fastest time in school history (18:06.39). The three runners at the event for the Mocs (Cantor, Goll and Hannah Flemming) now have sole ownership of the top 10 all-time performances in the 5,000m. Cantor holds six of the fastest performances while Goll and Flemming each hold two spots, with Flemming holding the school record.

All of the top-10 times in the 5000m were set in the past two years, with seven of those paces in just the last two months. Additionally, the 17-fastest performances have all been set in the last two years, with 11 of them set in the last two months.
