RALEIGH, N.C. – Junior
Grace Reed of the Florida Southern College women's track team was the lone Moccasin in action late Friday night as she made the trip to Raleigh, N.C. for the Raleigh Relays hosted by North Carolina State University. Reed shaved over a minute of the previous school record as she became the first Moccasin in program history to run a sub-35 minute 10K.

Reed took 38
th overall after finishing sixth in her heat of the 10,000m. She crossed the line in 34:54.20 which surpassed the previous FSC record held by
Emma Mussante (2022-25) of 36:00.69. Reed finished just ahead of runners from Duke, Elon and Columbia. Katie Blount of Elon won the event with a time of 33:31.63. Â

The Florida Southern College women's track team will be back in action April 3-4 at the ERAU Running Elements Classic in Daytona Beach, Fla. Â Â
