Emma Cannon Wraps Up Season with WNBA's Las Vegas Aces

BRADENTON, Fla. – Mocs women's basketball alumna Emma Cannon '11 saw her season come to an end on Tuesday night, as the Las Vegas Aces fell to the Seattle Storm in the WNBA Finals. Seattle won the series, 3-0, en route to its fourth WNBA championship.

In Game Three, Cannon came off the bench to play 17 minutes, making one of her four shots from the field, she added three rebounds. In Game Two, Cannon tied her career-high in points, with 17, set on August 10, 2017, at Dallas. The only Division II player on either roster, she added five rebounds and two assists.

An NCAA Division II All-American Honorable Mention in 2011 for the Mocs, Cannon first played in the WNBA for the Phoenix Mercury in 2017.

In the 2020 Finals, Cannons scored 21 total points, making 10 of her 17 shots from the field, with 10 rebounds and three assists.
