Orlando, Fla. – The fifth-ranked Florida Southern College women's golf team finished the Peggy Kirk Bell Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at the Orange Tree Golf Club in Orlando. At the completion of three rounds the Mocs finished in a tie for fifth place with University of North Georgia as both teams concluded the tournament at a +95.
In the final round,
Elizabeth Harding shot a team low 79 (+7). Senior
Nathalie Svensson and
Shelby Lewis shot an 81 (+9). Svensson finished in 14
th place individually while Lewis finished in a tie for 32
nd place.
Playing as an individual,
Hanna Rizzolo finished in a tie for 19
th place as she shot an 82 (+10) in the final round.
NEXT UP
The Mocs will travel to south Florida for the Barry University Invitational March 22-23 played at Don Shula's Golf Club in Miami Lakes, Fla. Southern will conclude the regular season at the Lynn University Invite April 5-6.
