SAINT LEO, Fla. — The No. 25 Florida Southern women's golf team maintained its spot on the leaderboard for a runner-up finish to close its fall slate at the Saint Leo Invitational at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club in Saint Leo, Fla., on Tuesday afternoon.
McKinley Holding and Darby Hancock were the Moccasins' top finishers, finishing with a three-over 219. Holding opened the day with an eagle on two, while Hancock shot even with three birdies.
Clare Gimpel finished tied-13th, while Kaley Amuso finished tied-18th and Ava La Belle moved up the leaderboard to finish tied-25th.
Florida Southern's four individuals compete in the tournament, with Taylor Zachary finishing tied-37th, Christina Nordlander finishing tied-43rd, McKinlee Proctor finishing 61st, and Susie Davis finishing 64th.
Anderson won the tournament at six-under, with Claudia Hastings (Anderson) taking the individual title with a three-round score of 209 (-7).
