CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - The Florida Southern women's golf team moved up to ninth in the latest Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll Rankings.
The No. 9 Moccasins jumped 16 spots in the coaches poll after a strong finish to their fall schedule, including two team top-five finishes.
Since the last poll, the Mocs took fourth at the NCAA National Championship Preview, where graduate student Clare Gimpel was the tournament's individual champion. Gimpel also received SSC Golfer of the Week accolades for her victory at PGA National.
The Moccasins then finished tied-ninth at the LeeAnn Noble Memorial where Ava La Belle was the Mocs' top finisher. Florida Southern then posted a runner-up finish at the Saint Leo Invitational to close out its fall campaign. McKinley Holding and Darby Hancock paced the Mocs in the fall season finale, finishing tied-fifth at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club.
The Moccasins are also ranked ninth in the Scoreboard by Clippd rankings, where Gimpel is ranked No. 28 nationally, La Belle is ranked No. 47, and McKinley Holding is ranked No. 66.
The final Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll will be released on November 14, 2025.
