Saint Leo, Fla. – The Florida Southern College women's golf team finished the Saint Leo Invitational on Tuesday afternoon on the South Course at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club. The Mocs shot a team combined 924, +60.
It was a tough round for Southern as
Loren Perez shot a team best 75, +4 and finished in a tie for sixth place.
Hanna Rizzolo (77, +4) and
Elizabeth Harding (78, +5) both posted sub-80 scores.
Nathalie Svensson shot an 80 (+7) in the final round for a 231 three round total and a finish in 12
th place.
The team winner was Lynn, 887 (+23), who won its first Saint Leo Invitational since 2013.
Lynn's Helen Kreuzer won the individual title. Tie between Tampa's Kiira Riihijarvi and Helen Kreuzer; due to Riihijarvi not being present, rules gave the breaker to Kreuzer.
