Miami Lakes, Fla. – The fifth-ranked Florida Southern College women's golf team began the Barry University Invitational on Monday morning at the Shulas Club in Miami Lakes. Thirty-six holes in to the tournament and the Mocs (+35) sit in sixth place after day one.
Senior 
Nathalie Svensson lead the way for Southern as she finished the first two rounds with a +7 to sit in a tie for 20
th place individually. Svensson shot a 74 in round one and a 77 in the second round. 
Senior Shelby Lewis finished the day with a +8 as she shot an 74 in round one and a 78 in the second round. 
Loren Perez shot an 80 in round one and a +2 in the second round and sits in a tie for 32
nd individually. 
Hanna Rizzolo posted a 75 in round one and a 78 in the second round. 
Lacy Tucker rounds out the Mocs scores with identical rounds of 79.
Round three will tee off at 8 a.m. and the Mocs will be paired up with the Eagles of Embry-Riddle.
