Boca Raton, Fla. – The fifth-ranked Florida Southern College women's golf team began the Lynn University Invitational on Monday morning at the Boca Woods Country Club in Boca Raton. Thirty-six holes in to the tournament and the Mocs (+31) sit in sixth place after day one.
Loren Perez lead the way for Florida Southern as she shot a +3 in the first round and shot par in round two to sit in a tie for eighth place individually.
Lacy Tucker improved her first round score of a 79 by six strokes for a 73 in the second round. Senior
Nathalie Svensson shot a +2 in the first round and a 79 in the second round.
Round three will tee off at 8 a.m. and the Mocs will be paired up with the Barry University.
