Boca Raton, Fla. – The fifth-ranked Florida Southern College women's golf team closed out the final round of the Lynn University Invitational on Tuesday with a +27 as a team. The three-round tournament took place at the Boca Woods Country Club in Boca Raton. Southern finished in sixth place.
Loren Perez lead the way for Florida Southern for the second straight day as she shot a +4 in the final round and finished in a tie for 10
th place.
Shelby Lewis stayed consistent throughout the tournament as she shot a 78 in all three rounds to finish in a tie for 33
rd place.
Nathalie Svensson and
Lacy Tucker both finished in a tie for 26 places as they shot a +17.
This was the final tournament of the regular season for the Mocs as they will begin play in the Sunshine State Conference championship. The two-day tournament will take place at the Bent Pine Golf Club in Vero Beach, Florida on April 12-13.
