CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The eighth-ranked Florida Southern College women's golf team opened the 2021 NCAA Division II Women's Golf South Regional tournament on Monday, May 3. The three-day regional tournament is being played at the Cleveland Country Club and is being hosted by Lee University. As a team the Mocs are in 8th place.
After the first day, Florida Southern shot a team combined score of 324.
Loren Perez led the Mocs with a 79 and is tied for 20
th individually.
Nathalie Svensson shot an 81 and is in a tie for 26
th place individually.
Lacey Tucker and
Hanna Rizzolo both shot an 82 and are in a tie for 33
rd place individually. The Mocs scores were rounded out by
Shelby Lewis who shot an 83 in the first round.
Southern's day two will start at 8 a.m. as Lewis will tee off on 10 as the Mocs are paired up with Anderson University and Barry University.
