MCCORMICK, S.C. - The Florida Southern women's golf team closes out the two-day Savannah Lakes Invitational with a 15th overall finish. The invite was hosted by Lander University at Monticello Golf course in McCormick, S.C.

In their second tournament of the year, the Southern women started out toward the top of the pack with an 8th place finish on day one. Due to injury the Mocs dropped down to 15th to close out the Savannah Lakes Invitational out of 19 other Division II teams.

Senior Elizabeth Harding, continued to lead the pack finishing tied for 19th shooting a 76 just four strokes over par.

Sophomore Loren Perez and senior Nathalie Svensson both shot an 82 on the day as Perez finished the tournament tied for 52nd. Svensson finished the two-day invitational tied for 77th alongside teammate Marissa Cardebas shooting an 83 on the final day.

Individually, Margaux Bonafe finished with a score of 83 finishing the day tied for 80th.

The Mocs will take another two week break from competition and will pick back up on October, 11-12 as the team travels to Dahlonega, Ga. to compete in the 8th annual LeeAnn Noble Memorial hosted by North Georgia at the Achasta Golf Club.
