PORT ORANGE, Fla. – Sophomore Capri Procopio of the Florida Southern women's track team was able to compete in the 400m Saturday afternoon at the Spikes Classic hosted by Embry-Riddle prior to the meet being canceled due to inclement weather. Due to the cancellation, the men's track team was unable to compete in the 800m.
 
Procopio took seventh in the 400m after rounding the track in 1:02.66 which ranks as the ninth fastest time in program history in the event.
