BOCA RATON, Fla. - No. 21 Florida Southern women's golf wrapped up the regular season with the final 27-29 holes Tuesday of the Lynn Invitational at Boca Woods Country Club. The Moccasins finished the tournament in ninth place with a final team score of 919 (+55).
Florida Southern turned in team scores of 310, 305, and a tournament team best of 304 over the final 18 holes Tuesday afternoon.
Loren Perez posted a top-25 finish with a 54-hole event score of 228 (+12), good enough for 21
st place. The senior out of Bartow, Fla. posted rounds of 79, 73, 76 to comprise her 228 which she made two birdies to finish in the top third of the player field on the par-72 6,023-yard course.
Lacey Tucker joined Perez in the top-30 players with a 28
th place finish at 230 (+14) following her rounds of 79, 79, and the team-low round of the tournament, a final round 72.
Elizabeth Harding stayed inside the top-35 of players at 233 (+17) while
Nathalie Svensson was close behind in 37
th place, 234 (+18).
Marissa Cardenas and
Hanna Rizzolo rounded out the Moccasins in the field in 51
st place and 56
th place, respectively. Cardenas carded a 241 (+25) total while Rizzolo was at 242 (+26).
No. 2 Dallas Baptist took home the team title by a margin of 28 strokes, 876 (+12). The Patriots' Julia Garcia won the individual medalist honors by a stroke with a 54-hole score of 217 (+1).
