Six members of the No. 10 Florida Southern women's lacrosse team were named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-South Region teams, the organization announced Thursday (May 12). Madison Tare earned First Team All-South Region honors while seniors

Ellie Griffin earned Second Team honors.
The Moccasins saw six of the 16 student-athletes from the Sunshine State Conference on the South Region teams with nine SSC student-athletes on the First Team and seven on the Second Team.
Hammond (Marriottsville, Md.) who earned her first career All-American honors Wednesday from USA Lacrosse Magazine earns her first career All-South Region honors. She is a three-time all-conference honoree including her first, First Team selection in 2022. Hammond was previously named to the Second Team in 2019 and 2021. She proves to be a force on the backline for the Mocs with 34 ground balls and a team-leading 31 caused turnovers. She has also won 29 draw controls, including a career-best 11 in the SSC Tournament Championship win over Tampa (20-10). Following the SSC tournament, Hammond was named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player for her performance in both the victories over Rollins at home and on the road at Tampa.
Lynch, (Boca Raton, Fla.) who repeats as a All-South Region selection, also earned her first All-American honor of her career Wednesday. She is a two-time First Team All-SSC selection including in 2021 and 2022. She is currently third on the team in total points (65) with 38 goals and 27 assists through 15 games. She has 62 total shots, 51 of them on frame for a .823 shooting percentage. Lynch has picked up 20 ground balls and has 23 caused turnovers while winning two draw controls this season. She ranks inside the top-15 of the SSC standings in points per game (4.33, 5th), assists per game (1.80, 5th), and goals per game (2.53, 12th). Lynch was named to the 2022 SSC All-Tournament team following the Mocs' wins in the tournament.
Tare (Etters, Pa.) earns her first career IWLCA All-South Region honors after earning her first career All-SSC honors after helping lead the Mocs to their fourth tournament title. Tare sits fourth on the team in total points (62) with the second-most goals (46), landing 65 of her 82 shots on goal for a .793 shooting percentage. She has made 17 of her 22 free position shots for a .773 FPS percentage, which is the second-best in all of Division II. Tare, who leads the SSC in FPS percentage, is inside the top-15 in four SSC offensive categories, goals per game (2.17, 10th), points per game (3.65, 12th), shots per game (4.82, 12th), and assists per game (.94, 15th).
Daleo (Westhampton Beach, N.Y.), who earned her second consecutive All-South Region honors, repeated as a Third Team All-American selection in back-to-back seasons from USA Lacrosse Magazine on Wednesday. She was named Third Team USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American in 2021 as well, and went on to be named a Preseason All-American by the publication prior to the 2022 season. Daleo is the team leader in goals scored (55) and total points (74) while she has 19 assists to her credit. In 90 shots in 17 games, Daleo has placed 71 on frame for a .789 shooting percentage. She has scooped up 13 ground balls and has six caused turnovers and five draw controls to her season total. After her five-goal performance against Tampa in the SSC Championship game, Daleo is sitting at 96 goals in her two-year FSC career. Daleo ranks inside the top-15 in all four major categories in the SSC, in goals per game (3.24, 3rd), points per game (4.35, 4th), shots per game (5.29, 5th), and assists per game (1.12, 13th). She was named to the 2022 SSC All-Tournament Team after her work in the pair of Mocs' games in the tournament.
Werker (Nesconset, N.Y.) repeats as an All-South Region selection in back-to-back seasons after earning her first All-American honors of her career. She is also a two-time First Team All-SSC selection and was a Second Team and Freshman of the Year honoree in 2019. Werker is currently 9-3 in goal with 662:46 minutes played while making 97 stops (.424 save percentage) on 309 shots faced. She was recently named to the SSC All-Tournament team for her performance in goal in both tournament games, the win over Rollins (17-11) and at Tampa (20-10).
Griffin (Gainesville, Fla.), who earned her first career USA Lacrosse Magazine All-American honors, earns her first IWLCA All-South Region in her debut season after picking up First Team All-SSC accolades as well. She is sixth on the team in points this season (36) with 32 goals and four assists. She has 31 ground balls and a team-best 81 draw controls having played in all 18 games this season.
The Mocs will be back in action this Friday, May 13 at 3 p.m. as FSC takes on No. 19 Wingate in the First Round of the NCAA National Championship. The game will be played in Charlotte, N.C. at the home of No. 1 Queens.
