Alison Jenkins had the sole Moccasin shot in the 16
th minute, which was off target before Lynn scored its first goal in the 22nd minute, off quick passing and a cross for Emma Geiges' goal. Florida Southern fended off the remaining three shots by Lynn to end the first half with a team save and goalkeeper save for
Carly Brodsky as the Fighting Knights went into halftime with a 1-0 lead.

th minute. The Moccasins came within one five minutes later after a great defensive turnover and pass by
Morgan Elliott for Shimberg to the far right of the net.
Â
Florida Southern earned a corner kick a few minutes later and Shimberg's left foot was deep enough in the box for a header by Jeffries to equalize Lynn with a 2-2 score. Brodsky was faced a couple more times throughout the second half to keep the game tied with no shots on goal for the Mocs to net a late game-winner.
Â
Each of FSC's four shots came from the starting front with seven total shots and four on goal for the Fighting Knights. Brodsky ended with two saves in the tie.
