LAKELAND, Fla. - The Florida Southern College beach volleyball third-year head coach Makena Wilson '20 has released the schedule for the 2025 season. The Mocs are set to face four Sunshine State Conference opponents for the first year of conference action and host 12 matches on the Judy and Joe P. Ruthven Beach Volleyball Courts. 
 
"This upcoming season is going to be very special for the beach team," stated Wilson. "This is the first year that it is officially a Sunshine State Conference sport. We have six very competitive teams that will compete in a conference tournament prior to the Small College Championship that will now be held at Gulf Shores, Ala. Along with a conference tournament we have a full schedule packed with competitive teams ranging from junior colleges to Division I programs. I am looking forward to watching the team compete and find ways to win!"
 
The season will open with a tri-match where the Mocs will host Warner and Polk State on Feb. 1. FSC will hit the road for the first time this season traveling to Palm Beach for a dual against Palm Beach State and Palm Beach Atlantic on Feb. 8 before returning home for a six-game home stretch against St. John's River and Ave Maria (Feb. 15), a dual against Palm Beach Atlantic (Feb. 22) finish with Barry and State College of Florida (March 1). 
 
During spring break, FSC is heading west to St. Petersburg to compete against Saint Leo and Eckerd on March 5 before heading north to Berry College in Georgia. At Berry, FSC will face DI University of Tennessee-Chattanooga, DII Berry College, and NAIA Truett-McConnell March 7-8 in the annual Berry Beach Kickoff, competing against five teams in different divisions.
 
FSC returns to Florida and heads to Eckerd for a tri-match against the Lions of Saint Leo on March 14 and follows with Liberty and the Tritons on March 15 before returning home to Lakeland for a duel against Stevenson the next day (March 16).
 
Florida Southern hits the road again for four straight matches as they compete against D1 Florida Gulf Coast and Palm Beach Atlantic in a tri-match on March 19 and follow with a community college tri-match against St. John's River College and Wake Technical on March 29.
 
The Sandy Mocs return home for the final time hosting Lake Sumter and Palm Beach State on April 5 honoring the seniors before the match. For the first time, Florida Southern will compete in the Sunshine State Conference April 11-12 before competing in the annual AVCA Small College Championship, April 17-19 in Gulf Shores, Ala.
