Eli Zuppa led the way as he claimed victory in the 5,000m, leading a group of 10 Moccasins. The time earned Zuppa the FSC Freshman Record as well as the fourth-best time in program history. Â Â

TOP PERFORMERS
- Zuppa led the way Saturday as he completed the 5K in 14:37.2, earning the Freshman Record as well as the fourth-best individual time in program history. Junior Anthony Matthew was the next FSC finisher in fourth while posting the sixth-best time in program history at 14:48.27. The final name making its way into the record book was senior Seth Augustynowski who turned in the eighth-best time in program history while taking sixth overall at 14:51.68. The next three Mocs finished inside the top-15 as sophomore Dylan Bailey finished two spots behind Augustynowski in eighth while just missing out on a sub-15 time at 15:00.65. The next two Mocs finished 11th and 12th, respectively. Sophomore William Canales was first across the line in 15:19.35 while classmate Connor Brooks came in just behind in 15:19.38. The final four finishers for FSC were redshirt senior Joshua Kraver (17th, 15:23.47), sophomore Declan Ziomek (18th, 15:28.90), graduate student Luke Dickinson (27th, 15:54.36) and freshman Tyler Gaines (29th, 16:00.03).
- The final event of the day, the 800m, saw another three runners earn all-time top-10 times. Matthew led the way with his second record book performance of the day as he posted the second-best time in program history at 1:54.00 while taking fifth overall. Sophomore Simon DeVoss was the next FSC runner to cross the line in 1:54.63 to earn eighth overall and sixth in the FSC Record Book. Senior Aiden Redmond was the final Moc to etch his name in the book as he took 14th overall with the ninth-best time in program history at 1:57.09. Freshman Andrew Nyland finished just four spots back in 18th while stopping the clock at 1:58.10. Bailey just finished inside two minutes as he took 23rd in 1:59.69. Augustynowski, Zuppa, Ziomek and Kraver went in order from 32nd to 34th. Their times were 2:03.99, 2:04.31, 2:04.45 and 2:04.96. The final three Moc finishers were Canales (40th, 2:08.64), Dickinson (45th, 2:11.64) and Brooks (47th, 2:12.86).

The Moccasins will be back in action next weekend as a small group will travel to Boston, Mass. to compete in the John Thomas Terrier Classic while the rest of the Mocs will see action in Gainesville at the Legends of Alachua County Invitational.
