AZUSA, Calif. – Three members of the Florida Southern College men's track team were in action on the opening day of the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif. Junior
Cole Summers led the way as he posted the ninth-best 10,000m performance in program history while turning in the third-best time this season for the Moccasins.

Summers completed the long distance race in 30:19.26 to claim 28
th overall in the highly competitive field. Paul Kiprotich of NCAA Division I Stephen F. Austin won the event in 29:01.44 while second and third were occupied by a Weber State and UCLA student-athlete, respectively.

Michael Toppi turned in the sixth-best 10K performance this season by a Moc as he claimed 44
th overall while crossing the line in 30:48.97. The final Moccasin on the track was sophomore
Eli Zuppa who claimed the eighth-best performance this season by an FSC student-athlete as he stopped the clock at 31:46.14 to place 61
st overall.

The Moccasins will be back in action tomorrow for their final day of competition in California. FSC will focus on the 5,000m during tomorrow's action.
