AZUSA, Calif. – Senior Chris Colavita was the lone member of the Florida Southern College men's track team in action Friday as he competed in the 5,000m at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif. The Washington Township, N.J. native tied Mason Jones' (2018-22) school record time of 14:19.08 set back in 2022 in Tampa, Fla.
 
Colavita competed in the "A" group of the 5,000m Friday night around 8:30 p.m. pacific time. The senior took 60^th overall in his group while completing the distance in the school record tying time of 14:19.08.
 
Colavita and the rest of the Moccasins will be back in action April 24-25 at the Sunshine State Conference Championships in Daytona Beach, Fla.
